Thank You Very Much!
We would like to thank the following who made MAPS 2015 possible by their generous contributions!
Patty Seaton was awarded the MAPS Distinguished Service Award at the 2015 Conference. Patty’s hard work and dedication to MAPS over the years was noted by several of her executive board colleagues. Patty was honored with this award just after she passed out symbolic hockey sticks to the remaining board members as she stepped down from the board after a 12-year run. One thing to note about Patty: while she will not be an official member of the Executive Board, Patty is a circumpolar star in the MAPS organization and while merely low on the horizon now, she just may find her stellar leadership rising again in the not-to-distant future. Congratulations, Patty!

At the conclusion of the 2015 conference at the Cradle of Aviation Museum and Nassau Community College, Patty Seaton now leaves the Executive Board as Past President. Also, Alan Davenport completed his time as active President and now holds Patty’s former title. In addition, Jerry Vinski now begins his term as MAPS President, and we welcome Kevin Williams to the Executive Board as MAPS President-Elect and Chair of the Program Committee.

Dear Conference Attendee,
On behalf of the Executive Board and Conference Planning Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the Middle Atlantic Planetarium Society (MAPS) 2015 Conference in Garden City, New York.
April Whitt was gracious enough to share her expertise during a workshop on the seasons at our Baltimore Conference in 2014. John Meader provided the photographs, April provided the captions, Tim Collins and the Website Committee did the technical work on preparing the the presentation for the website, and Tim also provided the musical accompaniment to the presentation.
In addition to the presentation, we have posted the worksheets, and several other documents that April used during her presentation.
