Dear MAPS Colleagues,

Many of us are experiencing closures and schedule changes due to the COVID-19 situation. After much discussion among us all, and in an abundance of caution, your MAPS Board and the conference host, Kerri Kiker, have decided to cancel this year’s conference at the Cradle of Aviation museum in New York, that was scheduled for April 22-26.

Instead of a face-to-face live conference, we’re discussing a “virtual” conference: meeting online or through an app to share ideas and resources. Perhaps not as satisfying as face-to-face conversations with colleagues and friends, but an opportunity for some professional development.

Watch for a survey coming soon. Would you be interested in Armand Spitz regional conferences during the summer or fall this year? An online session during the originally scheduled dates? Start thinking about it, and look for the survey.
