Conference Schedule
Because we’ll be visiting three planetariums, there will be some bussing at this conference, especially on Thursday. It’s been suggested we could use the time to our benefit for group activities. Think of a topic your bus might enjoy discussing; come up with an astronomical activity you could all participate in; hold a debate about the nature of Pluto!
On Thursday we’ll run two buses from the hotel to Keith’s planetarium in Glassboro, NJ; that trip will take at least an hour. On Friday we’ll split into two groups. One group will go to Don’s planetarium, the other to Kim’s for the morning sessions; both are short trips. We’ll all meet for lunch at the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum, where astronauts once rode the giant centrifuge, then the groups will head off to their afternoon destinations.
